Boards.ie, Irelands leading online community. Now in its 12th year, the continued growth of the site meant a radical new way of approaching the challenge of hosting thousands of posters and millions of messages needed to be found.
Boards.ie and Digiweb worked together to identify ways that Boards.ie could continue to provide a high speed and quality service to the users of the site by utilising Digiweb’s newly opened Dublin Data centre.
The solution was a newly build cluster of load-balanced web servers connected to a private database network. This provides boards.ie with a scalable model to grow capacity as traffic grows and the peace of mind that goes with it.
